Ice Skating Makes Joshua Cry; Swimming Brings Big Fat Cheesers
MC has been taking Joshua ice skating at the local ice rink. He was fine and all at first, until he realized it was cold and your bum hurts when you fall down. But when did pain and tears ever get in the way of parents forcing their kids to have fun? Never, that’s when.

On the other hand, Joshua went with Papa to a Scout swimming activity (our first “date– and as you can see, I toootally dressed to impress). The cheesers on display don’t quite show how ecstatic he was to be going. The kid was WIRED. And not like, “Yay, we’re going swimming!” wired. It was screaming gibberish, jumping up and down, tearing around the house, all smiles and cuteness wired. In spite of the pool being a slightly uncomfortabe 71 something degrees, we both gasped our way to adjusting and water winged, jumped, kick-kick-kicked and splashed or way to the good times… and by good times I mean an extra lengthy, warm shower in the locker room. If anyone who was at the pool on Tuesday is reading this, sorry about the whole “no hot water” thing.
